Monica Vinader at Liberty Jewellery Month

Last weekend saw the turn of Monica Vinader at Liberty’s Jewellery Month showcase. Monica and her team were on hand to answer people’s questions and show new pieces/exclusives from next season.

We asked Monica a few questions whilst she was here and this is what she had to say:

1/ How have you found partaking in Jewellery month at Liberty?

It has been wonderful to have the chance for Monica Vinader team and myself to meet the Liberty customers, and to work alongside the Jewellery staff,  which are great.

2/ What inspires your designs/influences you as a designer?

I am inspired by vintage Jewellery, by the stones themselves, and by a incredible urge to wear Jewellery: I mostly design pieces I need to have in my Jewellery box!

3/ What are your trends/styles/colours for SS09?

I have lots of pale blue and pink for summer, lots of black and silver and bright turquoise

4/ What can we expect to see from Monica Vinader next?

A great new concept to be launched next year with charms, and my really fab mens range, which women will also want to wear.
