Spring Summer 2009 Prints Explained…

For Spring/Summer 2009 the Liberty Art Fabric Design team have drawn inspiration from a wide variety of sources. As well as looking at architecture and nature for colour and style they drew upon people, from city workers to mother and toddlers. Research was based on local ‘County’ ladies, City workers, Children and their Mothers, a Free Sports commentator, and Rock Star event organisers and directors. It is an unusual and eclectic selection that has produced a wide range of colourful, floral and geometric patterns.

With Liberty print the fabric of the season, adorning Kate Moss’s latest range for Topshop, the hugely successful collaboration with Nike and many more to be unveiled this year the question is – what are you going to create?!
