Erfurt Scarves – Just In!

Say the word ‘Erfurt’ and one immediately thinks ‘ah, Erfurt, the capital city of The Free State of Thuringia, the city nearest to the geographical centre of Germany’. Alright, so you might not IMMEDIATELY think that, your Thuringian geography may be poor.
But pretty soon you’ll recognise the word ‘Erfurt’ as being synonymous with cool, vibrant, affordable scarves. Erfurt, is the Danish accessories label that has literally just arrived in the Liberty Scarf Room (and I mean LITERALLY, when I started this article they weren’t in!). Founded by designer Lotte Erfurt in 1997, the brand built up a following in Denmark before expanding through Europe, and the success looks to continue this summer in London.
The designs are young and stylish, perfect for summer 2009. The price point is another convincing factor, starting from £35, meaning a guilt free purchase!

P.S. The goats are sold separately.

so cute! (scarves and goats!) next i want to see some sheep in knitwear at liberty…!
There is an unbelievably cute picture of goats on the really brilliant Liberty Blog. They look so warm, glamorous and happy. I imagine they’re heading out for cocktails on a beach somewhere, the sun has gone in so they need something to keep the chill away. The littlest goat will probably drink too many mojitos and embarrass everyone.
okay, you provide the sheep, we’ll provide the knitwear…
Are these goats? They look like relatively recently shorn sheep to me. Lovely scarves too.
They seem like very groovy goats to me. I wonder how they got the goats to wear the scarves without eating them?
Niki – I think they’re goats, but I can’t be 100%.
Gavino – they were sedated, heavily.
